Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Inspired by my childhood in Haiti, I had to draw the botanical details of my favorite trees. they bloom in late May in south Florida and mark the beginning of the summer season!

BFA, BA Colorado University in Boulder Tilly Strauss lives on a Maple Syrup farm in the Berkshire foothills of NY. She considers painting a sacred act. By painting each day she attempts to discover the story of life, death and the flow of Time. Strauss exhibits and has found a successful following across the country. Her work has shown at the Attleboro Museum, the Berkshire Museum, the Albany Center Galleries, St John's University, and has been printed in the New York Times, the Poughkeepsie Journal, the Pulse, and the Millerton News, among others.
